During my free time, I usually experiment with translation. In that, I usually try out etymological reconstructions (as far as from PIE) , test foreign syntax transfer and adop...t different translations perspectives (such as Haroldo de Campos' Iliad).
Commercially, I follow guidelines as best as possible, except when the translation itself is going to suffer. I'd rather stay out of poorly designed translation jobs, as long as possible. More Less Message: It's nice to have you here. Let's make this a day to remember until next year's. ;-) |
