I am an EU-accredited conference interpreter and sworn court translator with more than 25 years of professional experience in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting and in translation, editing, and proofreading. Since 2010 I have been self-employed through my company Lingva Konsalting Dooel, working with clients in North Macedonia, the wider Balkans, and internationally. Over the years I have collaborated with numerous European and US translation agencies, as well as directly with international organizations, embassies, and government institutions. My experience spans high-level international conferences, training events, press conferences, sporting events, and institutional meetings. I have interpreted for two Presidents of North Macedonia, as well as for ministers, executives, and senior officials from both the public and private sectors and from civil society organizations. In addition to on-site assignments, I have extensive remote simultaneous interpreting experience on platforms such as KUDO, Interactio, Ablio Conference, and Zoom.

Between 2002 and 2010 I worked as an in-house interpreter and translator on several EU- and US-funded projects. This role gave me extensive practice providing simultaneous and consecutive interpretation at meetings between beneficiary institutions and international consultants, as well as at workshops, training sessions, field visits, and public events. Since 2000 I have also served as a sworn court interpreter and translator for English and Spanish into Macedonian and vice versa.

In 2013 I joined the Macedonian Translators and Interpreters Association (MATA). I served on the Management Board from 2014, became Vice-President in 2017, and was elected President in 2020. Since 2023 I have been the Association’s Secretary. In these roles I have been actively involved in organizing annual conferences, professional development workshops, and public promotional events for the language industry in North Macedonia. My responsibilities have ranged from preparing agendas and event scenarios to managing visibility through social media and websites (mata.mk and babylon.mk). I have also overseen MATA’s financial operations—including payments, bank accounts, and invoicing—as well as daily office management.

Through this broad range of professional engagements, I have developed deep expertise in legal, judicial, migration, law enforcement, financial, medical, healthcare, environmental, administrative, and EU-integration terminology. My clients have included major international organizations such as WHO, UNHCR, OSCE, IOM, UNDP, UNODC, FAO, GCF, and EASO, as well as numerous national institutions and foreign embassies.

With this combination of experience in conference interpreting, court translation, project management, and professional association leadership, I bring not only linguistic precision but also organizational skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to perform under pressure at the highest professional level.
