English > Latvian Medical/Pharmaceutical Translators

ICON Language Services is an internal translation group within ICON plc (a Clinical Research Organization). We are currently seeking to expand our database of experienced and reliable translators with medical and clinical experience.

We are looking for experienced English to Latvian clinical translators and reviewers for clinical research documentation.

If you are interested in supporting these needs, please send a copy of your current CV and elaborate on your experience with clinical/medical-related translations and any other relevant work experience.

Minimum requirements:
• Formal higher education in translation (recognized degree)
• OR equivalent qualification in any other subject area AND a minimum of two years of documented translation experience
• OR at least five years of documented professional experience in translating

Preferred qualifications:
• Have prior experience with legal/clinical contract translation
• Have prior experience translating site-facing materials (primarily Investigator Brochures, Protocols or any other materials written for medical or clinical professionals)
• OR have prior experience translating patient-facing materials (primarily Informed Consent Forms)
• Have prior experience translating patient questionnaires
• Have expert knowledge of medical/clinical terminology
• Experience with MTPE
