If an agency does not pay despite repeated reminders - can I hold the project managers liable? My question concerns a cooperation between me as a German freelancer and a Spanisch agency. Did someone experience the same with a positive result? Thank you for every helpful and proven suggestion.

If a corporation doesn't pay its bills, the normal course of action is to start a small claims proceeding against it.

File small claims in Germany Mar 31, 2013

Under the current EU legislation, for claims under 2000 EUR you don't even have to file a claim in defendant's country, there are cross-border procedures avaiable:

Prioject Managers cannot be made liable. PM is a boasting title often given to very low level employees.

contract or PO with the agency ? Mar 31, 2013

What kind of contract / PO do you have ?
If there is the company name on it, then the company is liable for paiement, not any employee.

If you suspect that the PM did not not pass on your invoice, contact the manager and ask for clarification.
