However, what works for my office (mostly technical and scientific translation) is to be able to closely control terminology in all MT projects. Generic MT output without controlling term translations is not that useful in my case. When we are authorised by our clients to use MT, we mostly use a Deepl Pro account with specific glossaries. Do you mean that Intento would allow us to feed our materials into "sub-plugins" like Deepl or ModernMT? (I have not tried Intento thus far.) Hi Tomás, Sadly, my language pair (DutchEnglish) isn't yet supported in DeepL’s glossaries. There is a way to do it with Google Transslate, but it's way too technical and I haven't had time to look into how to do it yet. I usually just pretranslate with my favourite MT engine in memoQ and then ensure my terminology is consistent via find & replace. Incidentally, DeepL support finally got back to me, after 11 days! I'm still testing Intento, but am pretty sure I will not be getting a new DeepL subscription but using Intento instead. So, on this thread topic, it now makes sense to also compare MT with LLM. It’s exactly what the latest Intento report does, I found it very interesting. Find it here: https://inten.to/blog/generative-ai-for-translation-in-2024/ For those new to MT and LLM metrics etc., I made a video looking at the report, find it here:...
