Hi,
Is there anyone who can tell me why I never see my image posted in the \'Featured Pro\' posting? I am also a Platanum member of Proz.com

Vladimir and jinshi, don\'t worry, I have already seen both of you in the \'featured pro\' box (several times). But I have never seen my own picture either. I suppose the engine excludes the person who is logged in from seeing his own picture. It wouldn\'t make any sense to see your own picture, would it?

For a while I used to think the same as you guys, as I\'d never seen my image in the featured section. However, one day, by chance or by probability, I saw my image and have seen it a couple of times since.
Someday you\'ll stumble across yourself too.

Merely confirming that I noticed all of you on several occasions.

Given the number of photos in the database, it used to be that each profile was likely to get 15 minutes every two weeks (Andy Warhol decided our period of exposure for us.) In January, we added the condition that only platinum members would be featured, so actually, the photos are shown more frequently.

Do you know, that Warhol has (well, had) Ukrainian roots? This is true - someone from his grandparents or parents came from Western Ukraine!

It\'s statistics: How often would you have to be logged on and watch that feature? I know because I have seen my own logo show up there (with some surprise). I think the odds that someone is just logged on to that specific site, when his/her profile is featured, are very low. ▲ Collapse
