Website translation/what tool?

Hello,
A client sent me the link to a website that he wants translated.

The website has numerous pages, links etc. It really is hard to get a word count and to give him a quote.

What tool is there that could help me being able to have a straightforward document so the word count and the translation can be done?

I tried it but on the same website it gives a different wordcount everytime I hit the "get" button. And even the first count is not right....or am I doing something wrong?
