Când îţi place foarte mult cum sună un cântec, tare ai vrea să ştii şi ce zice textul lui. De cele mai multe ori, asta nu e greu, având în vedere că majoritatea trupelor mai nou cântă în engleză. Chestia e că mai sunt şi excepţii, adică trupe care cântă total sau parţial în limba lor naţională. . De asta m-am gândit să deschid firul aacesta aici, că poate ne ajutăm între noi şi traducem texte la cântece din diverse limbi. E o traducere de hobby, nu e pt. bani, dar... E o traducere de hobby, nu e pt. bani, dar e traducere, deci nu ar fi anormal un astfel de topic pe un site de traducători.
Pentru început, m-ar interesa dacă există cineva care traduce din greacă şi ar face o faptă bună să îmi tălmăcească o bucată de piesă de-a trupei Rotting Christ? Athanati Este (Αθανατοι εστε) Piesa e beton, trupa de asemenea, e cea mai tare din Grecia şi din toţi Balcanii şi e foarte iubită şi în vest, iar concertul din Preoteasa din aprilie m-a făcut să o iuibesc şi mai mult. Athanati este are începutul în greacă, iar restul e în engleză; dau tot textul, că poate se leagă. La partea din greacă se aude că anumite chestii se repetă, deci e posibil să nu fie mult de tradus:
