is too much expensive asking 2.500 euros for a 800 page translation? what do you think about it?

Depends on the definition of "page"

Sounds terribly cheap to me. But you would need to provide some more detail to judge it; also, this should probably be moved to \"Business Issues\". Claudia?

But before that my opinion:
In Chile it\'s usual to count in pages, and a standard page has 250 words. So in fact it\'s the same, as you count words and then change to pages.
But if I\'m not wrong this would mean 0,0125 euros/word!

You're biting off three and a half months of work

at average production rates, by Claudia\'s calculation. You live in Spain: if this is done properly, you\'ll be paying at least 600 euro in Social Security (another 600 if they find out about the half-month). Taxes are calculated over the 2,500. Does this still sound expensive?

Depends on the quality of the translation

If you are a talented and skilled translator translating into your mother tongue (or equivalent) the price is ridiculously low, if you\'re not it would be a waste of € 2,500.
