After spending one year in London as an au-pair and taking the Cambridge Certificate exam, I studied English and Italian at the University of Graz, Austria, to become a translator and interpreter. I also studied one year in Milan at the Scuola Superiore per Traduttori ed Interpreti. While writing my thesis, I started to work for a translation agency in project management and did also small translations. After spending 3 months in Australia, I started working for another translation agency in Vienna. Then I worked for an international company in industries where I was responsible for Marketing & Sales for the Italian and Eastern European market.
With all that professional experience I decided to start my own business as a free-lance translator for basically English to German and also to offer translations from German to English, Italian, French and Spanish by working with an excellent team of translator colleagues.
