Pietermaritzburg – The trial of 24 men and a woman for copper theft and related crimes in Pietermaritzburg would take longer than expected because proceedings have to be translated into three or more languages.
On Thursday, an application to the regional court that the accused be given paper copies of the allegations they face, was translated three times.
The languages used in court were Shangaan for the four Mozambican accused, Shona for the five Zimbaweans and Zulu for the others. More.

In this case I suspect the interpretation quality since many languages are introduced into the court.
In another instance, if translation is made two-, three- or four-fold, original contexts will be distorted significantly. It is already tested by many psychologists.
