Struggling to get this to sound right:
Este abordaje permite al sujeto relacionarse de manera diferente con sus pensamientos, sentimientos y sensaciones corporales con una aptitud de permitir estar, dar la bienvenida a la experiencia del momento presente para fomentar la apertura a la dificultad y la aceptación de la misma (Teasdale, Segal, & Williams, 1995).

"Opening-up to difficulty" deosn't convince.

or you could stay closer to the Spanish and use 'face up to' (= step one towards accepting and then coping with!)
