Cardán: También conocido como cañero, es la pieza en la que se sujeta la caña en el curricán de altura. La normativa IGFA establece que los cardanes nunca deben ser fijos ni permitir descansar al pescador. El único movimiento que se permite a los cardanes es el vertical.
