Spanish term

con C.F. y P. IVA

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) Acronyms and abbreviations
SPAIN: From a service proposal agreement. CF is probably "Código Fiscal" and I know what IVA is but for now the P escapes me. Any acronyms fans out there?

Well spotted! I asked the client and it turns out the original text came from their office in Italy. Thanks for the heads-up guys. I **** hate acronyms...
Simon Bruni Apr 11, 2012:
With Charles A Spanish contract would just have 'CIF'
Charles Davis Apr 11, 2012:
@Neil Does this come from Italy? C.F. e P.IVA is bog standard there, meaning Codice Fiscale and Partita IVA; see here:

But in Spain even the C.F. bit is unfamiliar to me. Surely the company tax code for everything is the CIF. We don't have separate VAT reg. numbers here, do we? If it's Italy-related, that's your answer for sure (as per Lisa). Italians have long ones, eg.:
"PODERE LE CAVE DI SICARI MARIA GIOVANNA via Riboia 6/A 50023 Impruneta P.IVA 06018380482 C.F. SCRMGV65E57L049C"

Tax Code and VAT Number

I think it's "Partida de IVA", so entry in the VAT registry, basically the VAT number
