agree R. Alex Jenkins : Yes. I couldn't find the right word for 'batente' !! Would 'damper' be better perhaps? // I only said that because you can have 'backstops' at the front AND the back. All the best.

Thank you, Richard. Well, I think "backstop" is better here, as it limits the course (makes it stop), rather than dampening it.
