I also apologize for perhaps providing a misleading answer—but it isn't WRONG. Gasoline is itself a blend of refinery streams, and can be fractionated/cracked into shorter-chain hydrocarbons.

Paulo—I'd like that glossary. My Dicionário do Petróleo was no help here.

Well it does make sense... there is a notable difference between the wording of the two expressions: "gasoline fractions" and "gasoline and its fraction" (which would be a literal translation but would be WRONG, you are correct). Of course, both gasoline and diesel are already derivatives (fractions) of petroleum, yes that does makes sense.

However, I would still like to know what a refinery stream is? I accept it as a translation, it's correct, but I'm not a petroleum specialist and I would like to have a rough definition for future reference. Thanks, if you've got a few minutes.

refinery streams Pesquisando no internet - acho "refinery streams" e a gasolina e o diesel seriam um dos "refinery streams" de petroleo.

O cliente optou por ..."alíquotas da Cide incidentes sobre a importação e a comercialização de gasolina e suas correntes e diesel e suas correntes" => gasoline and its refinery streams and diesel and its refinery streams..

gasoline and its fractions ?? 'Gasoline Fractions' or 'Diesel Fractions'. Gasoline and diesel are both "fractions" of petroleum. I don't see any "fractions of gasoline" as it is not gasoline which is "cracked" and it is petroleum that is "cracked" resulting in gasoline, diesel and other by products.
