Share applied to marketing purposes

Declined
Or perhaps just "Marketing share"
Note from asker:
Yes, they were costs for marketing purposes - but weren't actual "shares" in this case. Thank you for your feedback though
Peer comment(s):

agree Charles Ek : Or "Share for marketing purposes". (A common provision in commercial leases.)

neutral Charlesp : A decent alternative. - the Asker however seems to misunderstand the meaning of a "share" - it isn't always a share of stock.

Contribution for promotional purposes

Declined
or "Contribution for marketing and promotional purposes"

Literally "markedsføringsformål," is marketing, but what it really means is "promotional purposes."

Sometimes it is better not to be so litteral.

It isn't really "charges" (that would be something else).
It is a reimbursement for the parties "share" of the "expenses.". There is a difference between charges and expenses.

Yes, I understand how "contribution" might be misunderstood - as in 'charitable contirbution,' but in legal terms, that is how a share (a percentage) is most often expressed.

But of course there is nothing wrong with stating it as a "share of..."
Note from asker:
Thanks for the tip! I ended up calling it "Promotional Charges". The "andel" is what sent me off the beaten path for a bit!
Thank you for the clarification.
