Olivia, you are right - it is the horse harnessed to pull a carriage or similar.

Hi Olivia - can you give us the whole sentence? btw, that should be "dAlla corte di Stiria"

an elegant yet efficient team

When the word "attacco" refers to a horse harnessed, as you suggest, in English we call it the "team".

elegance and power

maybe something like this: created for their elegance and power/strength -

in the second one, perhaps: suitable for use in sporting events and tourism

elegant but effective approach

but I'm guessing with "approach" because attacco has a vast range of possible translations and you have to understand what is being referred to; being a court it might be censure / criticism for example.

Hope that's more helpful!
Note from asker:
I give you the whole sentence so that you may get a better understanding of the term I need: Creato per l'attacco elegante ma efficace della Corte di Stiria, utilizzato fin dal 1700 nella Spanische Hofteitschule di Vienna, usato da tutti i circhi del mondo, il Lipizzano oggi è adatto anche per gli attacchi sportivi e per il turismo equestre.
As you can see the word "attacco" is used also further on in the same sentence. Could it be harness?
