German term

Hadernhalbstoff

German to English Tech/Engineering Paper / Paper Manufacturing
I have found "rag pulp" for "Hadernstoff", the above appears to be a paper product though. Any ideas?

rag pulp stock

Hadern is definitely rag and as you say Hadernstoff is rag pulp. Both of these terms are given in my International Glossaryof Technical Tersm for the Pulp and paper Industry.

Actually, it turns out that Halbstoff means pulp, so please forget about the \"stock.\"

Ernst gives \"Halbstoff aus Hadern\" = \"rag pulp.\"
I think you may be stuck with the translation you have already found.
