Io credo che ci sia un typo (compliment invece di complement) perche' non ha molto senso altrimenti. To complement e' usato spesso in ambito di abbigliamento ed accessori. E' possibile verificare col cliente?

In ogni caso, visti i dubbi, forse in effetti è meglio chiudere la domanda come irrisolta per evitare, appunto, di fuorviare.
Vorrei assegnare i kudoz a qualcuno ma temo che poi la cosa possa fuorviare altri colleghi che fanno ricerche terminologiche... voi che ne dite?
No, perché a volte - causa target molto giovanile di StockX - c'è un uso un po' 'squinzio' della lingua... quindi ogni tanto mi tocca chiedere lumi alla base!
Il fatto è che ultimamente, nei testi che l'agenzia mi passa per StockX, ho trovato anche un'altra frase con 'compliment'... è questo che mi ha orientato a pensare che non fosse un typo, bensì una precisa scelta terminologica. Ma magari gli americani utilizzano i due termini in modo abbastanza intercambiabile... cmq grazie per la consulenza :)
"Compliment" NON significa (anche) "essere complementare" - quello è "complement" - quindi di typo si tratta :-)
