Portuguese term

concurso formal;

Portuguese to English Law/Patents Law (general)
The below wording is at the start of a very large police indictment report, I believe CONCURSO MATERIAL means concurrent criminal acts but not sure what CONCURSO FORMAL means?

Incidências penais das pessoas físicas e jurídicas:
caput; art. 38, caput; art. 38-A, caput; art. 40, caput; art. 48; art. 53, inciso I; art. 54, caput e § 2º, incisos I, III e V; art. 63; todos em concurso formal; e art. 69-A, § 2º, por quatro vezes e em concurso material; todos da Lei nº 9.605/1998

agree Paulo Machado : Formal concourse, in criminal right, is when the agent, through one single act, practises two or more crimes, identical or not. Eg. A person, driving in excessive speed, hits several people and this single act results in the death of two or more.
