On an Argentine actor's resume appears his works in theater and referes to "teatro semi-montado" which means that the play has not been fully staged. Can anybody tell me what is used in English for "teatro semi-montado". Thanks in advance!

Es decir que los parlamentos no están del todo memorizados; hay cierto grado de improvisación, poco movimiento (sólo el marcado en acotaciones), vestuario y utilería son apenas sugeridos, no hay escenografía y, con suerte o imaginación, ciertos cambios de iluminación y alguna música ambiental si es indispensable. Esta forma de escenificación -que requiere de algunos ensayos y dirección- refleja o debiera reflejar un sólido trabajo previo, lo que se conoce como trabajo de escritorio. Ya se hizo análisis de personajes, de intenciones, de contexto histórico, etc. Es la mitad del camino para una producción terminada.
En español también recibe el nombre de teatro de atril.

Semi-Staged Reading: Plays which have been given at least one Seated Reading can have a Semi-Staged Reading, if the playwright desires one, at the regular Monday night meetings. In these, the actors may move about and perform basic blocking, but should still have scripts in hand and should not use props or set pieces. Again, this is followed by a feedback discussion.
