I find assegni FAD (assegni su fondi a disposizione) in a list of charges for banking services. I understand perfectly what it is but I am sure about the correct English term.

cashier's cheque/check
I think...not sure...that this is a synonym for assegno circolare...that is a cheque where funds are paid to the bank and the cheque, therefore, is as good as cash.

this would be logical as there is a fee payable and so it would show up as a revenue/fee earning item

Comment: "Thank you. Based on your suggestion I verified other sources and it seems to be a synonym for "assegno circolare" which would correspond to "cashier's cheque" or also "banker's cheque". "
