This is the patent language, as you talk about patent claims. An invention has to be described such that it can be reworked, i.e. that it is reworkable. This is stated in Article 100 (b) of the European Patent Convention (EPC). You can also verify this in the Case Law of the Europea n Patent Office inter alia decision T 10/86 of the Technical Board of Appeal. The German often uses Ausführbarkeit instead of Nacharbeitbarkeit.

would seem to be the logic of this (quite a sentence, even without the typos!) "Nacharbeitbar" can also be "to make up for lost time", but that would hardly fit this context.
