Hi,
I run Windows 10 via Parallels on iMac and memoQ (different versions) used to work without any issues for years when I started using this configuration.
However, one day some half a year ago I tried to start memoQ and got this error message:
The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect.
I tried all recommendations specific to this error found on the Internet to solve the issue, however, nothing worked.
I still managed to work on memoQ projects using memoQweb. However, there are times when it would be much more optimal downloading the files from server via memoQ, translating them in Trados, and then importing them back to memoQ.
I am wondering if anyone encountered this issue with memoQ and has found any solution.
The one time I needed it, they replied within 3 minutes! And what they told me to do actually worked!
PS maybe don't tell them about the Parallels thing immediately, since that might get a lazy "just use a real windows machine please" response. Only mention Parallels in further interaction if their advice doesn't help.

Could you please try to reproduce the issue, click ok and then open up the Windows Event Viewer, click on Windows Logs -> Application and look for the latest memoQ related errors?
There was an error in the log saying that one of the memoQ files is corrupted. They instructed me to delete that file, and that was it. memoQ launched without any problems.
