Dear all,
I've just been trying to import a number of TMXs into a single translation memory in MemoQ 5. Some of the TMXs are DE-EN, others are EN-DE. After importing the TMXs, the TM in mQ has jumbled up the language directions, some DE-EN, some EN-DE, corresponding to the imported files.

This is counter-intuitive, because the import dialog in mQ allows you to set the source language. So I assumed that mQ then sorts the language accordingly.

Dear all,
I've just been trying to import a number of TMXs into a single translation memory in MemoQ 5.

Why is this not happening? Have I overlooked something? Is there a documented workflow for this kind of task?

Thanks -Mike-

This is a Homer Simpson "Doh!" moment...

OK, so the language selection buttons under "Please select the source and target language codes from the TMX file you wish to import" refer not to what you've GOT in your existing TMX file but the source/target allocation you WANT in your TM...

Suggestion to Kilgray: how about re-phrasing that rather ambiguous wording to:
"Please select the source and target language codes for your TM."
