§ Have designed & developed V-8 Diesel Engine, single and multi-Cylinder Water Cooled/air cooled Diesel Engines and other numerous kinds of automobile products.
§ Posses M.Tech. (Mechanical) in 1st Division with distinction from P.F.U. (Moscow) with diploma in Russian translation into other languages.
§ Experience of working as a Professor and Principal & Proven ability of setting up & heading mechanical / automobile engineering Departments & teaching engineering under & post-graduate students in Vishwakarma Inst. Of Technology & D.Y Patil College.

PRODUCT MANAGEMENT/R&D
§ Coordinating the entire product development including requirement analysis, finalising specifications, designing, prototype development and testing activities.
§ Recommending design modifications based on client/market feedback.
§ Monitoring product quality and impact of design modifications on the product quality and cost.
§ Identifying & troubleshooting on areas of rejection.
§ Planning the Spare Parts/Inventory levels with key focus on energy & cost saving.

TRAINING & TUTORING
§ Researching & developing the content of various courses for the students in Mechanical & Automobile engineering.
§ Teaching engineering students on Mechanical & Automobile engineering involving Advanced Space Technology & its applications, Safety Protection against Vehicle Crash, Piston Design, Modern Techniques for rapid prototype development, Brake system etc.
§ Guiding students on performance of I.C Engines, zero emission vehicles, automobile steering systems, dynamic balancing machine, Piston Design, euro compliance, Square hole-boring machines, propeller shaft etc.
§ Conducting various workshops and seminars for narrowing down the bridge between Industry & Academic Institution.

§ Worked as consultant to Industry for product development such as in Gujarat Forging Ltd in 1996 to 1998.

1996-1998 Gujarat Forging Gujarat State General Manager-Projects

§ Designed 4 cylinder water cooled diesel system which is under construction.
§ Led a team of engineers for developing 4 cylinder diesel engine using AutoCad.
§ Devised a crankshaft & its forging for 4 cylinder diesel engine.
§ Designed and Developed components and aggregates for the 4 cylinder diesel engine.


1984-1987 D.Y Patil College Joined as Asst. Professor, Promoted as Principal /
of Engineering Head-Mechanical Department.
§ Involved in setting up of D.Y. Patil College of Engineering then new at at Washi.


1972-1984 Ruston & Hornby Joined as Design Eng., promoted as Sr. Design Eng (I) Ltd. & subsequently rose to the level of Dy Manager
§ Designed & developed the following engines;
Ø V-6,V-8 and V-12 engines in NA , TC and after cooled versions with MWM,W. Germany
Ø Single and multi Cylinder Air / Water –Cooled Diesel Engines.
§ Installed TD V- Carried out installation of MWM German Diesel Engine on application machinery. 3 YWA Diesel Engine on Harsha Tractors.
§ 8 diesel engine on Colos Tatra Military Vehicles.
§ Played a key role in indigenising of MWM German Diesel Engine Production.

1970-1972 C.S.I.R New Delhi Pool Officer
§ Carried out cost reduction of assembly line and testing procedures, quality control norms and setting up of inspection procedures, reduction in rejections rate in R&H (I) Ltd, Pune
