I have translated a number of books, from literary bestsellers for major publishers, to art catalogues for museums. As a published novelist I know the importance of providing a text that is not only clear, concise and fluid but also a pleasure to read. I was awarded a grant in 2004 by the National Endowment for the Arts for my translations of the French author Christian Bobin.

I also work as a translator in other fields, and have been a certified translator for the French Consulate in San Francisco for the last four years, where I have translated documents ranging from birth certificates and diplomats' speeches to nanotechnology newsletters.
