  • French /Arabic to English translator specialising in law, international development and the arts.
  • Expertise in law, including in-house work as a translator for international courts and City of London law firms.
  • Extensive translation experience for international organisations (UN, European) and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
  • Translation work for media companies (subtitling, editing, translation). Translator and editor of a number of books on art and culture as well as collaboration with artists and photographers.
  • I have taught legal and financial translation to postgraduate students studying MA Translation Studies at a British university. Also the author of articles on law and translation/interpreting-related issues.
  • Qualified translator with degrees in modern languages (French and Arabic) and law as well as MSc Translation Studies. Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (MCIL) and Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (MITI).
