Bio

I am a bilingual translator (English/Norwegian), copyeditor, and proofreader with ten years of experience in the Norwegian academic sector and publishing industry. I mainly work for well-established publishers in Norway. I also work with independent publishers, indie authors, the private sector, and academics with various materials – books, documents, annual reports, articles and more. I have translated five books into Norwegian (from English) and two from Norwegian (to English). I have also translated subtitles of a full-length documentary movie.

My education is in philosophy (BA) and natural resource management (MSc), and I have ten years of experience working in the education sector and development industry. I have a certificate in Appreciative Inquiry (AI).

I have a strong interest in issues related to natural resource management and global development, outdoor recreation, sports, wellness, entertainment, ethics, animal welfare, nutrition, education, and personal development.

I am a member of the Norwegian Non-Fiction Writers and Translators Association.
