Diwa del Mundo is the founder of Hypermedia Soft, a software development specializing in the Ruby on Rails platform.

He’s a staunch advocate of Open Source software, having more than a decade of experience in Linux. He studied Computer Science at the University of the Philippines in Diliman. He was the founding president of the UP Linux Users’ Group, an organization that promotes the use of FOSS among students. Among his key projects there is the Halalan Open Source Voting System. He’s now bringing his advocacy to businesses by helping them lower their IT costs and operate efficiently by using FOSS systems. He’s also currently the Vice-President of the Business Network International (Ortigas Chapter), an entrepreneur networking group.
