Portuguese term

beneficiado

Portuguese to English Social Sciences Religion Catholic Church
This is the position of "padre João Baptista de Castro, Beneficiado da Santa Basílica Patriarcal" in Lisbon. It appears to be a position within the Catholic Church, most likely a high one, but I can't find any good translation.

The text is about the history of a convent in Lisbon and this specific reference is regarding something he wrote in a book called Mappa de Portugal in 1763.

advowee; avowee

The question has been asked before' in that language combination and permutation, but - de novo - doesn't mean the 'right answer' has been given.

Advowee alt. avowee - not only the grantor, but also the grantee of a benefice.

Example sentence:

advowson ædˈvaʊzən nome 1. direito de apresentar benefício eclesiástico 2. *colação (de benefício)*

A`vow`ee´ n. 1. The person who has a right to present to a benefice; the patron; an advowee.

Thank you for your suggestion but I was searching from Portuguese, not Spanish

neutral Adrian MM. : The question has been asked before, but you suggest a completely different translation that could well be a or the 'right' answer.
