Hi. This isn't really a serious question, let alone anything to do with career advice, but I'm wondering if there are any known, successful interpreters notorious for the brevity of speech segments they need to impose on their speakers. and it doesn't bother anybody. Stop imaging that an interpreter must memorize long, long paragraphs. I have been working as a federal court and medical interpreter for more than 15 years, and never heard a single complaint; quite the opposite - many, many times judges, attorneys, doctors, nurses ... came afterwards to thank me for the job. I have a real difficulty to remember names and numbers ... but I have a notebook ! Therefore, it depends in what field of inter... See more and it doesn't bother anybody.
