And what about the Copa America? And the Champions League and the Europa League? And this is only football! Imagine tennis, baseball, and others! I mean, the potential is huge! Let alone now the eSports! So in one hour, based on my own experience, you will learn everything you need to become a sports translator and leverage the increase in sports events to take your career to the next level. Learning objectives In this course students will learn about: -The characteristics of a sports language: basically, you need to understand that sports language is different from others and that you need to be able to imitate it. -The best strategies to tackle these challenges: you will see tested strategies on how to better address these challenges and how to impress your client. -Migrating these skills to other fields: sports translation requires imagination and creativity, and you will learn how these can be used in other fields.
