Schoning.

- geldigheid 0: stopconditie is verlopen,
- geldigheid X: stopconditie is opgeheven,

Housekeeping.

Housekeeping is the last job in the daily batch work. The main purpose of the housekeeping job is to prepare the system for the following workday. This means that all completed transactions are deleted from the transactions data file and transferred to the transaction archive. At the same time, data related to business performance is collected. Several related maintenance procedures are also performed.

Housekeeping Transaction File.
All completed transactions in the transaction file are deleted. A prerequisite is that these transactions are properly recorded in the accounting system.
The following transaction types can be deleted:
- Booked transactions.
These are complete transactions (status CO, CL, CC1 or CB1) that are processed in the accounts system (account codes 2 or 3) and with a foreign currency status (currency status code 9). These transactions are deleted from the transaction file and transfered to the transaction archive.
- Denied transactions.
These are transactions that are denied or will be denied, and are not saved in the transaction archive.
The results of the housekeeping job are recorded in an audit report.

Housekeeping Transaction Archive.
Transactions in the transaction archive that were saved more than three months ago are deleted.

Housekeeping Print File.
The print file contains the data for all local transactions that must be printed. The data records for transactions that are already printed are deleted from the print file.

Maintenance Stop Conditions.
Stop conditions are principally valid for a period of five days, after which transactions automatically lapse. For this purpose, every stop condition is given a value that determines how many days the stop condition is valid. The following cases apply:
- validity 0: stop condition has lapsed,
- validity X: stop condition is set,
- validity 1 to 5: stop condition is still valid.
Stop conditions with Validity 0 and X are deleted and the values of the remaining stop conditions are reduced by 1. All stop conditions assigned for housekeeping are recorded in a report noting the location of data entry. In addition, the housekeeping job creates an audit report.

Transaction Cancellations.
The possibility exists for transactions to be deleted from the transaction file because there is a shortage in the IRN. These cancelled transactions are printed in a report.

Re-starting Transactions.
Transactions that are blocked because of outages of the production system can be traced and, if necessary, re-started. Blocked transactions are recognisable by a status beginning with K or D.
