He resisted all aesthetism, especially the theories of Le Corbusier, which cannot be justified in a practical sense. At the same time, he adopted functionalism which is marked by the realization of optimal apartment utilization, the economical manner of its construction and operation, and its connection to nature.
The current volume is a version of the Archives d’architecture moderne, a monograph published in Brussels, 2002, which was revised for a Hungarian readership and extended with some related extra documents.
