Posso enviar recibos verdes a uma empresa estrangeira?

Fiz um trabalho de tradução para uma empresa estrangeira. Pedem-me uma fatura. Não tenho sistema de faturação mas sim recibos verdes. Estes servem para essa empresa? Como costumam resolver estas questões?
