Portuguese term

(dar uma) fechada

Portuguese to English Other Transport / Transportation / Shipping BO de acidente

Certo, Mario. :)

cut-off Maths, cut-off parece ser uma boa solução. Os bandidos forçam o sujeito a "pull over".
Matheus Chaud Jun 6, 2017:
cut off, intercept Mário,
https://www.google.com.br/search?num=50&client=firefox-b-ab&...

Ex.:
http://wsvn.com/news/local/police-uber-driver-shoots-kills-a...
Investigators said Anderson’s black Toyota sedan was cut off by a gray Dodge Caravan along the 3500 block of Northeast 192nd Street.
...
“That’s when the Dodge Caravan cut them off.”
“The driver of the Caravan exited the vehicle. He had two firearms in his hand; he pointed them at the Uber driver and demanded items,” said Goranitis. “He threatened to shoot him if he didn’t [comply] with those demands.”

Vi também intercept:
http://www.bordermail.com.au/story/4185703/teen-in-car-as-co...
The vehicle increased up to a speed of between 195km/h and 200km/h as police tried to intercept the car about 5.30pm.
Mario Freitas (asker) Jun 6, 2017:

to cut off = to block or prohibit someone or something to pass, esp. a car [“cortar”, “fechar”, referindo-se à direção de veículos]

Christopher told us he was cut off by a crazy driver on the highway so he missed his exit.

cut him up and block him in

The expression used in the UK is 'cut someone up'
https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/cut_someone_up

But it wouldn't be to force someone to stop, so you probably need a couple of verbs.
