I found 'lodging' but I dont think this is a nice option here. I can see from the broader context that 'pousada' is almost the same as a 'hotel', in the sense that it is a comfortable place in an agreeable site.

Pousadas in Portugal are government-run, very often luxury hotels set in refurbished palaces, monastries, castles, etc. I'd put "pousadas" in italics too.

Although \"inn\" may be a correct translation of the word, it does not describe what a Portuguese pousada really is nowadays. Neither B&B nor guest house are appropriate. I\'ve stayed at a couple of pousadas here - beautiful, luxury hotels.

a pousada is an inn even though it can be lavish. There are all levels of "inn"'. or just leave the Portuguese in italics

Talvez entao precisamos saber se voce se refere a uma pousada do Brasil ou Portugal. Para a pousada que temos no Brasil, eu diria que \"bed & breakfast\" cabe melhor.
Vejam o que consta como definicao de \"Inn\" no Merriam-Webster\'s: an establishment for the lodging and entertaining of travelers.
E para \"bed and breakfast\": an establishment (as an inn) offering lodging and breakfast .
