making it more efficacious and carefully decided
that is what it says.....AND, strictly speaking, refers to the UMA NOVA ATTITUDE DE PRESCRIÇÃO....but, IT IS MEANT TO BE: that the doctor's new attitude helps the patient take the medication in a more efficacious and considered manner.
This is what the sentence say in Portuguese:
Use of medication implies that the doctor has a new attitude of prescription, making it more efficacious and carefully decided
a decisão ponderada, for example, would mean: a carefully considered decision
I have NO IDEA what the translator meant by USE OF MEDICATION..how the heck can use of a medication imply a new attitude?? by a doctor??
And what was probably meant that USE of the medication becomes more efficacious and carefully considered WHEN THE DOCTOR has a new attitude toward a medication...ie when the doctor is educated about it use, when the doctor has more info on it...ie that's what the writer is probably talking about!
Oh boy, this text of yours is PERFECT for beginners to see what really bad translation is. What a nightmare!! :)

Enzalo: Look, this is beginning to give me feelings of great anxiety...the idea that there are medical or quasi-medical texts out there of such low calibre and how dangerous that can be..I\'m afraid I\'ll have to pass on answering any more questions on your text....sorry....

Using the DRUG?? Or prescribing the drug??...how can USING THE DRUG, make the physicians have a new attitude???
Does that mean, they use it?? Or is prescribing meant? In which case, how can prescribing mean they have a new attitude??
One has to kdnow the original English to know what it meant...and even then I think the Portuguese is off...
