Swiss Surgical report
This abbreviation appears on a Surgical report from a Swiss hospital alongside "CHIR PED" - Surgery involves a spermatic phlebography and embolisation for a varicocele after traumatism testicle. Patient is about 15 years old. My best guess is that "CHIR PED" refers to "Pediatric Surgery." Is the other reference possible to "Plastic/Esthetic Surgery"?

if it's PED its pediatric for sure..
Pediatric surgery is for patients up to 16 years of age.
What you call plastic surgery is often maxillo-facial or reconstructive surgery.
