Financial context: For 'reclassement' I'm getting 'secondary distribution' from my sources, including Barron's, which defines it as a "public sale of previously issued securities held by large investors, usually corporations." The only trouble is, the wording in my text is: "Projet de cession du bloc de contrôle détenu par X dans Y et reclassement au sein d'X des participations détenues par Y." But X and Y are both companies, and a secondary distribution is a public offering, meaning it can't be done within a company ("au sein d'X), right? Is it possible that 'reclassement' simply means 'reclassification' here?
