French term

accepter le mandat

French to English Other Human Resources collective agreement
Collective agreement. This is a section on a solidarity fund.

"L’employeur reconnaît que l’association accréditée qui en a dûment accepté le mandat, agit à titre de représentant du Fonds."

Does this mean "the duly mandated certification association acts as the Fund representative"? TIA

Whoops! I meant the "certified association".

You could also use "accredited" instead of "certified". It fits equally well here.

The only problem with the above explanation is that it gives the impression that the association was mandated (by someone else) whereas the French indicates that it [the association] accepted the mandate.
