SCREW AIR COOLED WATER CHILLERS

PART 1 - GENERAL

1.1 SCOPE



General

The Contractor shall furnish and install (an) air-cooled screw liquid chiller(s) as shown and scheduled in the plans. Unit(s) shall be installed in strict accordance with this Specification. All units shall be furnished complete with screw compressor(s), evaporator, air-cooled condenser, electronic expansion valve(s) and control panel and part operating charge of R134a refrigerant and full operating charge of lubrication oil and all options required and as directed by Engineer.
1.2 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

A. Microprocessor controlled air-cooled liquid chiller utilizing screw compressors and electronic expansion valves.
B. Valves, gages, and thermometer.
C. Water pump.
D. Coils for AHU.
