The Costing Directorate provides essential data, cost analysis and cost estimation support across the A&P Deputyship as well as the Acquisition enterprise across MoD. Internally to the A&P Deputyship, the Director will ensure the cost analysis function is leading all efforts related to the development of models and assessments of projected costs of an Acquisition case, provided through combination of central costing and satellite costing teams. Additionally, the Directorate, in line with the A&P Costing Policy, will aggregate the Total Cost of Ownership inputs from DOTMLPF owners (including those outside A&P) for the generation of initial and final aggregated TCO for acquisition projects.
