German term

Vorläufe/Nachläufe and Vorlaufbügel/Nachlaufbügel

German to English Tech/Engineering Architecture
Hi all,

Struggling with these terms (Vorlauf/Nachluaf/Bügel) in the context of a supermarket layout. I'll provide a couple of examples below. Basically the text concerns the entrance area of a supermarket, describing how customers can enter this area, security features/barriers etc.

Kunden-Einlauf."

Any help much appreciated. Thanks, Gavin

Gavin Do you have the picture referred to in the text? Can we see it?
Johannes Gleim May 29, 2023:
@ Gavin Can you please describe the type of instrument or device, its function and purpose? Is it a barrier, a conyevor or a bannister?
Wat does your term relate to the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) system and your terms?
Can you also describe the EAS function and location?
Plese not that you asked 4 different terms and should distinguish each one from each other. Normally you had to ask 4 questions.

I am a new member and KudoZ user, and do not know yet how it exactly works. I would prefer some advice or help instead of rudeness. It sounds a bit like that in your case...

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks Zoi. I've been in contact with the PM, who in turn has been in contact with the customer for further consultation on these terms. They are happy with your proposals."
