Suitable Forum and References 1-The question is an 'English' question like the one below

https://www.proz.com/kudoz/english/general-conversation-gree...

You might like to post similar questions in that section in the future. It gives you a good chance of getting quality answers, probably from skilled natives. There are other excellent external forums, such as WordReference, where you usually receive high quality solutions.

2- Regarding "references from sites": Anyone can write on the web, and many people use awkward English (/Persian) in doing so, many times due to loan-shifting from other languages. Providing a few 'usage' links on the internet that support a particular view is usually a questionable method to prove the validity of an English (or, for that matter, Persian) construct. References in such cases need to be reliable (dictionaries, experts' views, in-depth discussions of that issue, etc.) and relevant.

colloquial common mistake

"Younger than me" is grammatically incorrect, although it is used, and accepted, colloquially. The correct form is "younger than I (am)". So, if you like to be formal, it's best to use "younger than I am". See, e.g., the provided links.

"He's younger than me by eight years" seems awkward in English to me. You can say "He is eight years younger than I" or "He is eight years my junior".
