On numerous occasions when performing maintenance or refueling the helicopter, the battery is cycled 'on' to monitor fuel quantity.
After the completion of the task, the Flight Ops department will occasionally get a notification that the System has been activated and the helicopter is overdue.

I prefer the term "anomalie" it's more nuanced and refers more to a kind of bug/glitch than a fault that can lead to a failure of the DU.

: c'est sans doute cela mais je dirais pas "défaut" qui impliquerait selon moi une panne plus ou moins facilement identifiable, mais "anomalie".

Je dirais que c'est une panne causée par un bug... (État anormal d'un système ou de l'un de ses éléments le mettant dans l'impossibilité d'accomplir une fonction requise.)
