I am a Ph. D. research physicist and a freelance translator among the English-Polish-Russian triad. While I was born in Poland and completed my secondary education there, my university degrees come from the US. Coming from a bilingual background, I am native in Polish and Russian and, having lived in the US for over 50 years, I am native in English.
I am a Fellow the American Physical Society and of the International Society for Optics and Photonics with over 160 publications in refereed, international journals. I translated articles in physics and technical physics from Russian to English for the American Institute Physics.
I have an avid interest in languages and, in fact, continue to learn French while, at the same time, teaching Polish, Russian, and English on a volunteer basis. I have wide interests in art, literature, science, technology, business, and politics and feel comfortable in all of these subjects
