subtitles) and quality checker for a project with a well-known
movie streaming provider.

We are looking for a linguist native speaker of the
target language (En) with strong skills and background or native
in the source/secondary language (Nl).

Job Title: Subtitle Originators (Translators)

Description:
Translation and localisation of TV show and movie subtitles &
dubs
Training is provided in the form of online tutorials.
Work is done online and you have direct access to project
coordinators in the US, Singapore and London when you need
support.

Translation work can be done in conjunction with your other
freelance projects, provided it is not work for the same client
through a
vendor other than TVT.

Pay:
You are paid by the file. Pay is based on programme runtime
minutes (anything from 2 mins to full movie length).
More information will be supplied in further emails and on
receipt
of a signed NDA.The NDA does not commit you to work should you
not

be happy with the rates.

Candidates must:
- Be native English speakers (target language) with an excellent
command of Dutch or native as well (source language),
- Subtitling, a/v translation experience: minimum 3 full years
(please do not apply if you don't have 3 full years exp in a/v
translation),
- SDH experience will be appreciated,
- have an internet speed of around 10 - 20Mb,
- be willing and able to adhere to the client's strict deadlines,
- work on files in a private setting as the work is confidential.

Training:
Training is done in English via the client's online training
portal and includes a test to pass.You will have a final training
session with a
TVT coordinator to prepare you for the test, particularly the
subtitle / technical element.
TVT Coordinators based in offices round the globe are available
to
provide support 24/7It takes about 1 - 3 days to complete
depending
on experience of this type of work.
